Route Description
- Start with a 700m flat walk through Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden
- Begin the ascent through the forest on wooden stairs for about 1 km
- Continue climbing over rocks and boulders in the gorge
- The last 900m is on a mountain slope footpath out of the forest
- Reach Hely Hutchinson Reservoir at the top

- The trail is only accessible during Kirstenbosch Garden opening hours (8am-7pm Sep-Mar, 8am-6pm Apr-Aug)
